I have been developing Google workshop for the past couple of years and have always struggled with the design. Although Google products are actually quite simple and straight forward to use, many workshop participants have a difficult time with grasping the ease of use.
My goal has been to improve the format of the workshop to lessen the frustration some participants seem to have while learning a new process.
This exercise in defining our design values has helped put this process in perspective. I will attempt to explore not only my personal design values, my workshop design values and how Google's design values fits into both categories.
